Out of Print and Unavailable

Out of Print and Unavailable Discography (as Jesse Statman)

When The Band Of The Land and the other bands I was involved with started to become less active around 2004, I became really focused on filmmaking projects for a few years – mostly with friends who had been involved with The Band Of The Land, now making movies together as Band Of The Land Films – I only really picked up music again in 2009, a bit before my 16th birthday, which is when I started making music as myself, Jesse Statman, for the first time.

I wrote and recorded a bunch of songs and instrumentals in 2009 that I released on 3 different limited edition CDs that same year – I didn’t include those CDs on this list, because they’re not “unavailable” anymore – some years later, I released all those CDs put together, in the form of a 20 track Cannonball Statman album called More than the Nightmare Station.

2010 was an extremely prolific year for me as Jesse Statman, and almost everything I released that year is currently unavailable anywhere – the music I made that year was raw and traumatic in a way that I have mixed feelings about releasing to the public, and I wrote about this in detail on the page for Rainbow in Santa Cruz (2010).

2011 and 2012 saw some more uplifting material (I graduated high school), and the main reason I haven’t reissued a lot of it is because I haven’t figured out what to do about the name and aesthetic associated with my work as Jesse Statman – which I wrote a bit about on the page for 8PM in New York City (2011).

After Stench of the City (2012), I became Cannonball Statman – I tell the full story of that in the page for Eight Folk Songs (2012).
