Five Feet of Raw FIRE! (2015)

This album was never released online! It was released on CD only, the same day I released Year of the Swimming Dogs, an album which is only available online.

We had a big release party for it at Sidewalk Cafe, with some really cool performers – Killy Dwyer played an incredible set, from what I remember. And a bunch of people seem to have this CD, if only because they bought it at that party.

The title track is a really long song – it’s a series of surreal visions set to music that’s more like an avant-garde opera than a song.

There were also some really intense, really short tracks on here, which are some of my most violent, thrashy acoustic songs.

My dad has this album on his computer, and it’s always coming up on his shuffle when he’s playing music while cooking or driving – I wouldn’t recommend this particular album for cooking or driving, because it’s more in the realm of extreme music.
